Painlevé Equations and Applications: A Workshop in Memory of A. A. Kapaev

August 25, 2017 - August 29, 2017

Andrei Kapaev was a very influential researcher in the field of Painlevé equations whose premature passing has startled all who had known him personally or via his work.  In a tribute to his many contributions, this workshop aims to bring together the most prominent researchers worldwide in the area of Painlevé equations and their applications.

This workshop is sponsored by the University of Michigan’s Center for Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics (MCAIM), serving as the focal point for activities that integrate mathematics with the sciences across the University of Michigan.
